2. Set a password or PIN to unlock the screen (if you don’t already have one).

3. Click on the add a new network button.

4. Fill in the fields required to establish a connection:

Connection type - L2TP/IPSec PSK.

The server address must be taken from the list of VPN networks on the VPNGate website. You can use an IP address, but it is better to use an address that ends in .opengw.net.

The L2TP secret and IPSec identifier fields do not need to be filled in, and in the IPSec pre-shared key line, specify “vpn” (without quotes).

Open advanced settings (check the box) and in the “Forwarding routes” line enter the address 0.0.0.0/0.

Save your settings.

5. When starting the network for the first time, enter the username “vpn”, password “vpn” and click on the connect button.

If you are a resident of Crimea, then you have probably already felt the sanctions imposed by the United States. The essence of these sanctions is that now residents of the peninsula do not have the opportunity to download or update applications using Google Play. Whenever you try to do this, the message appears: “The application could not be updated/downloaded due to error (403).”

Step by step instructions:

  • Select request superuser access
  • Next, select “SUBMIT”
  • Now you will need to select “Route all applications through TOR”
  • In the next menu you will need to press the “Forward” button and do not select anything
  • The installation is almost complete, all you have to do is click the “Finish” button
  • Now we move on to the actual configuration of the application, the essence of which will be to change the final output bridge. To do this we go to the application settings
  • Select "Output nodes"
  • In the menu that appears, write (RU), exactly to the symbol, as in the image
  • We exit the application and reboot our device. After the device is rebooted, open our ORBOT and launch it by long pressing the “onion” shortcut in the middle of the device monitor
