Lenovo k5 plus description. Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus review: metallic and inexpensive

In a fairly short period, Lenovo has become one of the most serious players in the Ukrainian portable equipment market. The products of the Chinese company combine quality, reliability and the best price. The new Lenovo K5 Plus smartphone has these three qualities and is designed to occupy a position in the niche of mid-range budget smartphones.

For the test, we received a silver model with the index A6020a46. For communication, a 3Mob operator card was installed. Of the 16 GB of internal memory, 10 were available out of the box. Unfortunately, the smartphone runs on an outdated version of Android 5.1.1. During use, no updates were released.

So, Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus

The smartphone was presented on February 21 at MWC 2016 and is positioned as a mid-range device. On paper, the characteristics look pretty good, let's see how things are in reality.

Equipment

A pleasant surprise awaits buyers here. The delivery set consists not only of the device and basic charger and headset, but also includes a protective film for the screen and a plastic cover cover. I wouldn't say that the case fits perfectly, but it's a "gift horse"... you know. It protects the smartphone, this is the main thing. Just remember to periodically remove it and clean out any accumulated grains of sand - they can scratch the back cover.

In the box you will find:

  • Smartphone
  • Battery capacity 2750 mAh
  • 2-pin charging (5 V, 1.5 A)
  • microUSB cable
  • Protective film on the screen
  • Protective plastic case
  • Headset
  • Documentation

Design and ergonomics

The Vibe K5 Plus looks quite stylish for a budget device. Nice design, aluminum back cover, clearly fitted plastic inserts. The body is assembled tightly and does not creak. On the front there is a 5-inch screen and three touch buttons without backlight. At the top there are proximity and light sensors, a front camera peephole, and a speaker. On the back top you can find the camera peephole and flash. Below the aluminum cover are the speakers. By the way, this is a very controversial decision, since, for example, during games the hand almost completely covers them.

On the sides there is a minimum number of control elements. The left side was left completely empty. On the right is the power button and volume control keys.

Overall, everything looks good, but two complaints need to be highlighted. The first is the microUSB connector located on top. Perhaps it's a matter of time, but I still couldn't get used to this engineering solution. You constantly try to insert the cable from below. Plus, it is very inconvenient to install a smartphone in a car. The cord is initially not that long and you have to struggle a lot to install everything at a comfortable level. And I’m keeping quiet about the aesthetic side of the cable sticking up.

Otherwise everything looks good. The device fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and does not slip. During all the time of use, he never tried to fall out of his hands.

Screen

K5 Plus received a 5-inch FullHD screen with an IPS matrix. The 1080p resolution and 440 ppi are impressive for a budget device. The screen is clear, with wide viewing angles. There are saturation and color temperature settings. Those who like to read in the evenings will be pleasantly surprised by the reading mode. A special filter is applied and the screen turns yellowish.

The smartphone also has a light sensor, but it was immediately disabled due to its incorrect operation. In the sun, the screen fades quite a bit and you want to turn the brightness up to maximum.

Unfortunately, the display is protected by ordinary glass, so small scratches quickly appear on it.

Sound

The back cover of the Lenovo K5 Plus proudly displays the inscription DOLBY, which seems to hint at the strong musical component of the smartphone. The speakers are really loud and allow you to hear music/movies/podcasts well in quite noisy environments. However, loud does not mean quality. Don’t forget that this is a budget device and you can’t expect high quality sound from it, for example, like from the HTC 10 or Moto X Style.

The standard headset of stars from the sky is not enough and is more suitable for unassuming users. For better sound quality, it is better to use good ones.

Camera

The device has a 13 megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and a single flash. The front camera has a 5 megapixel sensor and copes well with its tasks. As for the main camera, this is the most controversial part of the K5 Plus. For example, if you decide to shoot during the day, on the street, in good lighting, you can rest assured that the photos will turn out clear, bright and attractive.

But believe me, shooting in the dark or just in a dark room will be a big mistake. Detailing drops, photos turn out blurry, and artifacts appear.

As for video, the K5 Plus shows average results. The recording is in 1080p resolution at 30 fps.

Performance

The smartphone has an eight-core Snapdragon 616 processor, 2 GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 video core. You don’t really have to expect anything outstanding from the K5 Plus, and the AnTuTu benchmark score confirms this.

Among the toys, I installed the cool trial MMX Hill Climb and the popular racing game Asphalt 8. The first one ran at maximum settings by default and behaved satisfactorily during the game. The second one turned out to be more demanding and constantly slowed down at maximum graphics settings. The transition to the average helped. Heating in games remained within comfortable limits.

Lenovo K5 Plus runs Android 5.1.1 with the proprietary Vibe UI interface. The system is a little old, but well optimized, it works smoothly and comfortably. Minimal animation delays were observed only after a significant load with a large number of running applications.

Autonomy

The device has a 2750 mAh battery. It is removable, which is an important factor for many users. With a light load, the battery easily lasts for a day and a half. If you load your smartphone during the day (GPS, 60 minutes of games, surfing the Internet, music), then in the evening you will have to use the charger.

Conclusions

At the moment, Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus is sold in Ukrainian online stores at a price of ₴4999 (~$200). For this money you get a nice smartphone with metal elements, bonuses in the form of a plastic case and screen overlay, good, loud sound and an excellent contrast screen. On the negative side, we note the poor placement of the speakers and microUSB socket, and an outdated version of Android.

The K5 Plus smartphone will have a hard time on the Ukrainian market. The niche is tightly packed with brands such as ASUS, Xiaomi, Meizu. Some devices offer a better camera, others offer more additional functions and a nicer design.

Lenovo K5 Specifications

Frame

The case is a classic candy bar with a touch screen. The device weighs 142 g and dimensions 142 x 71 x 8.2 mm. The back cover of the device is made of aluminum with plastic inserts. The ends are also made of plastic. The phone case is collapsible.

Lenovo K5 Silver, Gold and Gray Cases

Under the cover there are two slots for SIM cards of the MicroSIM standard. There is also a slot for a memory card, the maximum capacity of which is 32 GB.

On the right side of the case there are buttons for adjusting the volume and locking the device. At the bottom there is a microphone and three front menu control buttons. At the top front of the smartphone you can see the front camera and two sensors: proximity and lighting. The first is designed to turn off the display during a call. The purpose of the second sensor is to adjust the display backlight level depending on the ambient light level. On the front, the display is protected by a chrome trim. At the top there are connectors for charging a smartphone and headphones.

The K5 is available on the consumer market in three color variations: gold, gray and silver.

Battery

This smartphone model cannot boast of a powerful battery, the capacity of which is only 2750 mAh. Judging by user reviews, with moderate use of the smartphone, the charge lasts for a day in battery mode. If you actively use the Internet, your phone's battery life may decrease.

Screen

The smartphone has a five-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution (1280 x 720). Its brightness is enough for comfortable use of the device. The wide-angle matrix allows you to view the image at an angle of up to 180 degrees. Multi-touch supports five simultaneous touches. The glass has an oleophobic layer to protect the screen from scratches and chips.

Additional features

The phone is equipped with an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, allowing it to multitask without any complaints. The built-in Adreno 405 video chip allows you to play modern games at lower graphics settings.

The smartphone's built-in memory is 16 GB, of which about 11 are available to the user. The rest of the memory is occupied by the operating system. It can be expanded by installing a flash card in the phone.

Correct operation of the software is supported by the Android 5.1.1 operating system. It is possible to update the system over-the-air. The phone's RAM capacity is 2 GB.

There are stereo speakers at the bottom of the case

The smartphone operates on 2G, 3G and 4G networks. It is possible to switch SIM cards for data transfer without rebooting the device. Both SIM cards are active and can be used simultaneously. Manufacturers have equipped the smartphone with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules (version 4.1).

The built-in navigator with support for A-GPS and GLONASS functions allows you to avoid getting lost in an unfamiliar place. The Micro USB 2.0 connector has built-in OTG technology, which allows you to connect external USB devices to the phone. Another feature of the phone is the presence of a light indicator that allows you to find out about missed events: phone calls or unread SMS.

Sound quality

The model deservedly bears the title of “musical smartphone”. Manufacturers equipped it with two stereo speakers, the grilles of which are located on the back cover of the device. Dolby Atmos technology provides high-quality and loud music sound without any noise or crackling. There are speakers for noise cancellation. The user can listen to music using standard sound, or adjust the equalizer to suit their needs.

Camera and video recording capabilities

The smartphone is equipped with two cameras with 13 and 5 megapixel modules.
The rear camera is equipped with a flash, which allows you to take high-quality photos in low light or at night, but users note some graininess when there is not enough light. The camera can operate in HDR mode. The phone user can independently adjust the shutter speed and ISO. There is a digital zoom that allows you to zoom in on the image.

Videos are recorded in FullHD quality. The recording speed is 30 frames per second. Owners of the device note graininess when there is insufficient lighting during shooting.

The front 5 megapixel camera has all the capabilities necessary for video communication. The quality of selfie shots is acceptable for this resolution.

All these features allow the phone to take its place in the line of mid-budget smartphones presented in the consumer market.

Test results

The model scored 35,000 points in the AnTuTu service. This performance is ensured by the technical content of the smartphone. The overall score of 4.75 points and hardware performance of 7.3 points make it a worthy competitor among models in the mid-price segment.

Lenovo K5 testing results using AnTuTu service

Testing the phone's graphics in the HEADSHOT app also shows decent results. The game runs correctly, without freezing or stuttering.

Options and packaging

The gadget box is made in accordance with the company’s “repertoire”. It is bright, the main part is white and contains a photo of the smartphone, a description of the characteristics and other information about the gadget. The thick cardboard packaging will prevent damage to your Lenovo smartphone during transportation.

The gadget's delivery set consists of the following components:

  • Lenovo K5 Plus.
  • Instructions with warranty card.
  • Protective film.
  • Plastic bumper on the rear panel
  • Headphones
  • Charger
  • USB MicroUSB charging cable.

Device components

The equipment is not poor. The protective case is made slightly larger than the dimensions of the device, so some of the holes in the case do not correspond to the location of the components of the Lenovo smartphone. The presence of a complete film is encouraging - not every manufacturer will equip their inexpensive device with such a kit.

The gadget can be purchased in Silver and Gold colors, but for the Indian market there is a gray variant of the Lenovo K5 Plus, which looks stylish and solid.

Appearance and design

The appearance of Lenovo K5 Plus is unusual and pleasing to the eye. The rear panel contains the main camera with an LED flash and drilled areas for two stereo speakers - an unsuccessful solution, because if the Lenovo gadget is lying on the table, the user will not hear a call or will not be able to listen to music comfortably. This drawback does exist, and the bottom edge is almost empty. It has a small drilled area for a conversational microphone - this edge would clearly fit 2 speakers.

On the front there is a 5-inch display, three touch buttons, a front camera and sensors. On top there is a connector for charging MicroUSB and headphones (jack with a diameter of 3.5 mm). The volume buttons and the power/lock key are located on the right edge. The left side is empty.

The assembly of the gadget from Lenovo is excellent. The back panel is removable, most of it is made of aluminum. The upper and lower parts of the cover are made of plastic - a rather unusual solution that is not often seen on Chinese smartphones. The battery is installed under the cover. There are slots for SIM cards and a microSD flash drive. It's good that Lenovo decided not to install a separate "hybrid" tray, limiting the needs of the Lenovo K5 Plus user.

During the entire period of use, no backlash or squeaks were detected. The dimensions of the gadget allow you to comfortably use it with one hand, but the slipperiness of the back cover does not allow this - an unpleasant minus. The dimensions of the smartphone are 142x71x8.2 mm and the weight is 150 g.

The smartphone from Lenovo is available in gold, white and gray colors. Accordingly, not only the back covers, but also the front parts of the gadget are painted in these colors, which can be seen in the photographs:

Smartphone colors

Display

The front panel has a 5" diagonal display. The screen resolution is 1920x1080 pixels or Full HD. The presence of such a display is a great bonus from Lenovo. The quality of the display matrix is excellent. If the screen deviates strongly from the user's eyes, the picture is not inverted. Since the IPS panel is installed, the black color turns slightly into white when you rotate the phone.

A low brightness threshold is not ideal. The same characteristic can be given to maximum brightness. Due to the fact that the protective coating on the front panel of the Lenovo K5 Plus reflects its rays in the bright sun, the maximum brightness is not enough to properly see the picture on the display. A light sensor is installed above the screen, which is responsible for adjusting the brightness, but it is unstable - in good lighting, the brightness is not always “turned up” to the maximum.

Smartphone display

The touchscreen is responsive and supports up to five simultaneous finger touches, but this is not the best result, since the gadget displays of some Lenovo competitors understand up to ten simultaneous touches.

The user will not notice broken or individual dots on the screen. A similar effect was achieved due to the excellent density of 441 ppi - with this screen resolution the number of dots/inch is acceptable. Lenovo has added a special “night mode” function to the software component. After turning it on, the color temperature changes - the screen turns yellow, which will not harm your eyes when reading a book or articles in a browser at night.

Software

Out of the box, the Lenovo gadget runs on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. Unfortunately, the Chinese manufacturer did not install the already released version of Android 6.0. The proprietary Lenovo Vibe UI shell is installed on top of the operating system.

The software shell ruined the pleasant first impression of the gadget. The errors started with the initial setup. Some functions could not be activated. After a short period of time, the gadget began to work normally, but the shell still slowed down during operation. Perhaps the gadget will receive more software updates that will correct the picture of our first acquaintance with the device.

The shell is not optimized for the amount of RAM, which is why some background applications are reloaded when launched again. The design of the system is not for everyone. The appearance does not really stand out for its beauty. In our opinion, a pure Android operating system would fit better into the entire “entourage” of the Lenovo K5 Plus. If you don’t like the shell design, you can install a third-party Launcher from the Google Play Market.

The system contains some applications from Lenovo that it is advisable to remove. These are various garbage cleaners and other programs in Chinese.

Sound

At the presentation, Lenovo representatives called the stereo speakers located on the rear panel and the sound from the headphones the strongest element of the device. Built-in Dolby Atmos technology supports sound. Almost all Lenovo phones in this price segment have it. Despite the excellent quality, the speakers are still not the best on the market.

The volume is enough not only to perform everyday tasks, but also to comfortably listen to music or watch videos on YouTube. The speakers are located on the back of the device, which is why they can be easily covered with your hand while holding the smartphone in a vertical position. When Lenovo K5 Plus is lying on the table, the volume drops and the sound is distorted. It would be good if the manufacturer installed speakers on the bottom edge, because there is a lot of empty space there.

The microphone and speaker are made of high-quality materials, the sound is excellent. The interlocutor heard us well. The recorder is suitable for recording lectures at the institute or useful at work (for example, in journalism). The package contains not only instructions, but also headphones - unusual for a device of this cost. But they are only suitable for conversations on Skype or the phone - it is better not to listen to music from them. The sound in normal headphones is excellent.

Performance

The main hardware component of the Lenovo gadget is the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 chipset. This is an eight-core hardware platform operating at a frequency of 1.7 GHz. 2 GB of RAM are responsible for the speed of applications - this is not enough. This volume is not enough for the end of 2017, especially since the software shell is poorly optimized for RAM consumption. You can store data on a 16 GB ROM - not serious, considering the cost of the gadget.

The latest internal memory of the Lenovo K5 Plus can be expanded with an additional microSD memory card up to 32 GB, but we are more than confident that the smartphone will “understand” cards with a capacity higher than the specified limit. The manufacturer has installed separate slots for both Micro-SIM cards and a memory card separately, which other companies do not do, limiting the desire of phone owners to make maximum use of communication services and external memory at the same time.

The graphics of the device is controlled by the Qualcomm Adreno 405 graphics accelerator - an old solution at the moment. It allows you to play simple games comfortably, but complex ones can only be played at medium graphics settings. You can set the maximum options, but in the World of Tanks game you will have to disable additional parameters: HD sounds, shadows and limit the number of frames per second to 30 FPS in order to save the Lenovo K5 Plus from heating and throttling.

When performing normal tasks, the gadget practically does not heat up. In games, the heating is insignificant - the Lenovo smartphone feels warm in the hands. The hardware allows you to comfortably use the basic functions of the device. If the shell were also normal, then the gadget would not have a price.

The Geekbench program after testing the processor showed 697 and 3197 points on a single-core “run” and a test of all eight cores of the chipset, respectively. In Antutu Benchmark, the device’s hardware, together with RAM and graphics chip, scored 34,741 points, and this is not enough for a device in this price segment. Even Xiaomi Redmi 4X, which is included in the same price limit, has 10,000 points more in Antutu.

Among the positive features of the model, it is worth noting the presence of a 4G connection, and among the minuses, the absence of an NFC contactless payment module. This is far from a flagship, so you don’t need to pick too much on performance.

Camera

The cameras in Lenovo smartphones have always been at the highest level. Today's gadget is no exception. The main rear camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels and takes excellent photos during the daytime. This is not a “camera phone killer”, but the user will be able to get good photos. The sensor is budget, so it will take several attempts to “squeeze” as much juice as possible out of the camera. It can record video in 1080p or Full HD format. In poor lighting, the videos turn out terrible.

At night, the photos also do not shine with quality. If it’s dark around, but somewhere there is a light source, then it’s better not to take pictures at all - nothing good will come of this idea. The picture will be blurry, dark and with a lot of noise. It is the distant light sources that will fall into the frame, but everything else will remain dark and with artifacts.

The February MWC was more than successful, phones from a wide range of price segments were presented, and the budget option was more than pleasing, meet Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus .

Design

The design of the presented device is no different from a typical smartphone. The dimensions and material of the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus are universal - an aluminum body with plastic inserts on the top and bottom. A transparent plastic case is included to protect the back of our handsome aluminum model. The dimensions of the smartphone are 142 millimeters in length, 71 millimeters in width and 8.2 millimeters in thickness, and weighs 150 grams. And yet, despite the five-inch screen, it is convenient to work with the representative of the East with two hands, due to its smooth surface and thickness.
The touch buttons on the bottom panel are left without backlight. The semi-rounded icons of the Lenovo interface claim to be the design solutions of Apple. On the back panel there is a logo, a 13 megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash, and just below that same Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus feature, stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and two microphones. The sound is really good, but to get the full experience, the phone will have to be turned so that the screen is facing down.

Display

The device is equipped with a five-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution (1921*1080) with wide viewing angles. The colors are pleasing to the eye, and viewing videos in good format is more than possible.

Iron

With octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with an operating frequency of 1.5 gigahertz Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus easily cope with 3D games and what can we say about 2D. The touchscreen responds acceptably, keystrokes are read at an average speed.
The presence of 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of built-in flash memory with the ability to expand by an additional 32 gigabytes using microSD memory cards will not allow the user to get bored in the monotony of loaded applications.
A number of applications are already pre-installed on the phone, as well as SHAREit, SNAPit, Guvera Music, Google Store and Games-Store applications. And of course Skype and Twitter, because I always forget to mention them because they come on virtually every phone.

Autonomy

And so that this whole simple arsenal doesn’t kill your phone in a matter of hours, the developers left a removable battery, which is not bad in our time. With a capacity of up to 2750 milliamp hours, it provides up to 322 hours of battery life in 4G standby mode and up to 15 hours of 3G talk time.

operating system

The operating system is Android 5.1 Lollipop, although the phone has already been released with Android Marshmallow.
The device supports two Micro SIM cards and provides fast access to the Internet thanks to support for 3G and 4G networks. Maybe in China 4G will be very useful, but here, alas, we can call the phone “Phone of a Bright Future.”

Communications

There is an FM radio, and of course a classic set with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.

Cameras

And yet, for its price segment, I want to note the quality of the 13 megapixel main camera with autofocus and LED flash with decent detail and color reproduction.
And a front 5 megapixel camera with fixed focus.
Selfies taken with the front camera do not turn out blurry, because the smoothness of the image can be edited manually.

Bottom line

A new processor, optimized firmware, support for 2 SIM cards, the Dolby Atmos system and a pretty good test score on AnTuTu indicate that this phone deserves a solid five in its price segment.

Despite the fact that Lenovo did not immediately start working on smartphones, it is doing well. The smartphones released under this label may not capture the stars from the sky, but they are well worth the investment in them. For example, Lenovo K5 plus, which we will now review, costs only about eight thousand rubles. For that kind of money you can’t count on anything beyond ordinary, and we won’t do that. But the smartphone met all expectations and even did more than that - it surpassed them.

The device turned out to be quite pleasant both technically and in terms of appearance. True, Lenovo K5 and K5 Plus have one thing in common, namely, a weak battery. But there’s nothing wrong with that, there’s just a certain inconvenience associated with the constant need to carry a charger with you and be close to an outlet. In addition, buyers would be interested to find out what the difference is between other smartphones from the same line, and which one is the most profitable to buy.

When we go to the store to buy a new smartphone, we pay attention to its design and characteristics, and also watch a video review in Russian, if possible. So, this model has pretty good characteristics, considering the low price:

  • The display is not the largest, only five inches. But this is more than enough to watch a video or find a contact number. In addition, the device is equipped with Full HD IPS Display;
  • As for the operating system, Android 5.1 is installed here;
  • The device runs on an eight-core processor (64-bit and 1.7 GHz);
  • RAM occupies 2 GB, and the internal memory limit is 16 GB. To expand the device's memory capabilities, you must adhere to restrictions of up to 128 GB;
  • The phone is equipped with gravity, light, and proximity sensors. In addition, it has an electronic compass;
  • You can install two SIM cards;
  • Cameras: main 13 MP and front 5 MP;
  • Weight: 142 grams;
  • Battery capacity 2750 mAh.

A standard video review will allow you not only to find out these characteristics, but also to see how they will work on a specific device.

Differences between K5 and K5 Plus

These two smartphones came out almost simultaneously, they are very similar to each other and are in almost the same price group. But there are also differences between them. And what they are, we will now try to find out.

As it turned out, these smartphones are practically no different. But two main factors can be identified that prove that there is still a slight difference:

  • Display. On the Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus, the performance is noticeably better, since it has a 5-inch IPS screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels, which allows it to work much better with the picture and display different colors. Whereas the K5 only uses 1280 x 720 pixels, although other parameters are identical;
  • Processors. Another very important indicator that affects the quality of the device. The cheaper model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 (64-bit, 8 cores) with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, but the expensive one has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor (64-bit, 8 cores) with a frequency of 1.5 GHz. The difference is barely noticeable, but it is there.

The remaining indicators are absolutely identical, of course, if you do not take into account the prices. This is the main distinguishing feature for the buyer. Since the difference of 20 dollars when purchasing is a little hard on your pocket, even if the amount is purely symbolic. So you can safely buy any of these models, and you won’t go wrong.

Lenovo K5 Plus a6020 design

Like most smartphones from Lenovo, the Lenovo K5 Plus (a6020), which we are reviewing, does not have a striking appearance. And in terms of filling, as you can see, this device does not shine. But for a “state employee”, a modest appearance and no less modest parameters are the norm.

The materials that were used to manufacture the device in question are universal and tested in practice. In particular, metal (aluminum) and plastic are used as side inserts. When purchasing, a transparent plastic case is included to prevent the device from being damaged.

According to color scheme, the following are available for sale:

  • White models;
  • Devices in the gold style, that is, gold;
  • Black.

But there are problems with the black Lenovo a6020 vibe. The fact is that the device seems to be available on the official website, but it has not gone on sale in our country. Perhaps this is a temporary phenomenon, but for now there are no offers for those who want to order a phone in black.

In addition, due to its size, the device is uncomfortable to hold in your hand. It may slip out. This is facilitated by the slippery back panel. Therefore, if you don’t want to break your brand new phone, it is advisable to initially train yourself to use two hands when working with the device.

Software

The Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus uses an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor. RAM is 2 GB and ROM is 16 GB. As for the wireless interfaces that we are used to, the Lenovo VIBE K5 a6020a46 review shows that only NFC is missing. But this is not scary, since a much more practical 4G network has appeared in its place.

As for heating, which is the scourge of all budget devices, it is present, and quite strong. But an increase in temperature is felt during serious tasks, such as watching videos, playing games, etc. Happens. that the video slows down slightly, but this depends on its quality and size, and the phone gets very hot. As for telephone conversations and other standard manipulations, there is practically no heating.

In general, the Lenovo 5, which we reviewed, is not something unusual in the world of smartphones. This “state employee” has an unremarkable design and rather weak hardware. But keep in mind that this device is intended for simple tasks.
