Steam Settings

The heapsize parameter is calculated using the formula: (RAM / 2 * 1024).

Let's launch it. First, let's go to settings and select your language. I have Russian. Now let's go to the Memory Cleanup tab. We are interested in the "Memory Management" item here. It has 2 checkboxes that you must check.
- First parameter Cleaning when full: (%) 85.
- Second parameter Clean every: (min) 60.
Check the box next to Memory clearing: I have the F8 button. After every game I press this button and my RAM is cleared. The game continues to work. And you can safely start the next skating rink.
The program can be minimized to tray so that it does not bother you.
We also need to run the file “TimerResolution.exe” from the archive that we downloaded from our manual. In it, press the Maximum button.

Additional notes
In my config there are settings that change by rewriting the parameters of the files that we transferred with the replacement of Engine.ini, GameUserSettings.ini, Scalability.ini. If you change parameters through the game settings, some values may return to their original positions, but this is not certain. First way
It is important to consider that the game was created on the popular and demanding Unreal Engine 4, and therefore the personal computer must have high performance. Before launching Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, it is better to disable applications and third-party programs.
You also need to install the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, DirectX and Microsoft Net framework.
First of all, you need to compare the minimum and recommended system requirements with the characteristics of your PC. Perhaps the reason for the picture slowdown and low FPS lies in weak hardware. In this case, changing graphics settings, using third-party software and “dancing with a tambourine” will not help here.
Second way
You can increase the smoothness of the picture on the screen and the number of frames per second by changing the image quality settings. Battlegrounds Playerunknown's graphics settings are located in the main menu. First of all, you need to disable anti-aliasing and also reduce the drawing distance of the game world. It is necessary to reduce the quality of graphics and detail. Post-processing consumes a large amount of PC resources.
At the same time, the image quality will remain virtually unchanged. If all these actions did not give any result, you need to set the minimum graphics values. You can also experiment with screen resolution. The lower it is, the higher the performance will be.
Third way
You can make the image smoother and improve the graphics using the ReShade application. You need to download the program from the official website, and then select Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds on Steam by checking the box next to DirectX10+. Next, you need to give your consent to install shaders, then uncheck the boxes next to the shaders.
After installation is complete, ReShade software files should appear in the game folder.
If something happens, you can delete files without any damage to the game or OS directly in this folder.
Fourth method
Another way to improve performance is to check your PC file system for errors. You can do this by using the Memory File Error Checker (SFC.exe). At the end of the test, the faulty file will need to be replaced.

- In the window that opens, you need to select the path to the game that needs to be optimized. It must be absolute, including the client.exe extension. You can save all changes that have been made by the user using the “Apply Changes” button located at the top of the screen;
- After selecting an item for the game, you need to save the changes made. It is important to find the following item “Threaded optimization” in the list. Here you can find several modes at once;
- You must click on “OGL THREAD CONTROL IGNORE GET ERROR”;
- A table will appear next. Click on “Shim rendering mode Options per application Optimus”, then select “SHIM RENDERING OPTIONS DEFAULT RENDERING MODE” from the list;
- Now you should open Nvidia settings and go to the “3D Settings” tab. After this, select the “Management” section;
- In the list that appears, you need to find the game that was configured in Profile Nvidia Inspector;
- Once you've added Playerunknown's Battlegrounds to your list, you need to return to your Profile. Select the SLI compatibility bit parameter from the list. In Artialiasing Behavior Flags click None, and in Memory Allocation Policy you need to click on Aggressive pre allocation.
