Do you have an extra iPad lying around the house that you no longer use? I kept my iPad for 2 years before finally upgrading to iPad Air 2, which meant the iPad 2 was just sitting in a drawer. But why waste it completely? good iPad, right?
When you open the app you will get several really simple instructions which will tell you to proceed and download first software to your computer.
Tap Got It and you will see a screen asking you to connect your iPad to your computer. However, before we do that, we need to install the software on the PC or Mac first.
Go ahead and boot your computer or Mac program to your computer and install it. On a Mac, you'll get a sleek, rectangular installation screen at startup.

What I really liked about the Duet Display is that the second screen actually acts as a separate second monitor. On my Mac I didn't encounter any problems, but I did have problems with Windows laptop. Fortunately, they customer support excellent and I solved the problem within a few hours. Apparently I need a different video driver which they sent me via email and that fixed the problem.
If you plan to use this with desktop computer, you'll probably have to buy yourself a 6-foot thunder cable, as well as some kind of stand so your iPad can be placed next to your monitor.
