Win 21 at cards. How to play "21"? Rules of the game "Point"

Number of players: from 2 to 10

Goal of the game: be the first to score 21 points

Rules of the game. The dealer (banker) is determined by lot, then they deal in turn. Cost of cards in points: ace - 1 point or 11 points (decided between players before the start of the game); king - 4 points; queen - 3 points; jack - 2 points; the remaining cards are at their face value. The deck is carefully shuffled and removed by the player to the left of the banker. The banker announces the amount: “There are 10 rubles in the bank,” you can bet any amount into the bank. Next, each player is dealt one card face down, the banker deals the last card to himself and opens it, showing it to everyone. The banker opens the bottom card of the remaining deck and places it face up on top of the deck. The player who received the card cannot refuse the game; he must play the pot, and only then leave the game.

The first move belongs to the player to the left of the banker. The player names the bet he wants to play for this round, but which does not exceed the amount of money that is in the bank. For example, there are 10 rubles in the bank. The player says: “I’m going for 5 rubles” and asks the banker for one card. If a player does not have enough points to score 21 points, then he asks for another card. A player who scores 21 points immediately declares this and withdraws his winnings from the bank. If a player scores more than 21 points, then he is obliged to show his cards and pay the debt to the bank (the player pays double for concealing a bust). The banker is the last to announce what he is doing and then all players reveal their cards. The player who scores the most points wins. If the number of points is the same, then the banker wins. The player who lost puts his loss into the pot and the game continues. The banker places the cards played face down on top of the deck after each player, then takes a card from below and continues the game with the next player. If the bank is broken by one of the players, then the cards for banking are passed to the next player on the left.

There is a rule according to which players play at their own discretion, for example, drawing cards blindly. If a player has scored 17 points and there are not enough points to win, then he asks the banker for one card, but does not look at it. In this case, if the player has a bust, then he loses, but not doubly. The player is not fined for going through points in the dark.

The bank is assembled before knocking. A knock is an amount of money that is three times the banker's bet. In our case, the banker collected 30 rubles and announced a knock. When knocking, each player can declare any amount of money (not higher than the bank), if he wins, he takes it, if he loses, he adds. After the end of the last round, when the knock is knocked, the banker takes all the money that remains for himself or “flies away”. But in any case, the banker does not lose more than 30 rubles.

There are many exciting card games. One of the most popular is considered “twenty-one”, or “point”. This game is a variation of blackjack. During Soviet times, it was almost impossible to get a deck consisting of 52 cards. Therefore, twos, threes and fours had to be replaced by queens, jacks and kings. How to play at 21?

Rules of the game

At the beginning of the game, a banker is chosen. This is the person who keeps track of money in the bank and distributes cards. And not only to all participants, but also to yourself. Any player can become a banker. It can be changed at will. In addition, the banker acts as a controller. He explains the rules of the game and helps beginners.

The meaning of the game is this: the banker puts any amount into the bank, and the players try to win this money. Everyone reports how much the pot is for. The bet may vary, but not more than the one in the bank. If you score 21 points, you automatically win against the banker. If you lose, the bet amount from your wallet is sent to the bank.

Not everyone can score the required number of points in a few moves.

In this game, the leader is the one who has the required amount. It happens that not a single participant in the “twenty-one” scores the required number of points. In this case, the one who has it close to the given number wins. If you have a draw (the so-called “by eye”), then the bank wins. If after a few hands you go overboard, you are out of the game.

When for some reason a player hides a bust, he deposits double the amount into the pot as punishment. Sometimes, before the banker begins to draw his cards, the participant forgets to report that he has scored 21 points. He also pays a fine in the amount he bet on.

Progress of the game

How to play at 21? The banker deals cards to each player. The first will be the person sitting on his left hand. First, 1 piece is given. from the top of the deck. Having placed the last one for himself, the banker takes out a card from the bottom of the deck and places it face down on the remaining ones. Next, all cards are drawn from the bottom. Then comes the buy-in: each participant is given one more card. This continues until the player reaches the required amount.

The banker himself takes the cards as long as he has less than 16 points. He must stop if he scores 17 or more points. After all participants and the banker have collected cards, the latter asks to open them for scoring.

If the first player wins (or loses), he deals his cards. They are either placed on top of the deck or shuffled and used to play with the next person. However, the cards of the banker and other participants are not shuffled, but remain on the table.

When you see that the cards will be shuffled, you can put yours in the deck and get new ones.

Bonus combinations

If we consider the “Russian” version of the game, where the deck includes 36 cards, then the points will be as follows:

  • ace – 11 points;
  • king – 10;
  • lady – 9;
  • jack – 8;
  • 10 – 10;
  • 9 – 9;
  • 8 – 8;
  • 7 – 7;
  • 6 – 6 points.

If the first two cards are two aces, that's a golden point. The player immediately opens them and takes the winnings - the amount he bet on.

A combination consisting of 5 cards with illustrations is also considered a win-win. Moreover, it does not depend on the number of points. This also includes sets in which 21 points are made up of cards 7, 7, 7 or 6, 7, 8. In this case, players receive bonus money (by prior agreement).

"Knock"

The game continues until the “knock” occurs. This is a situation when the amount in the bank is 3 times more than the banker bet. Also, the “knock” serves as the final circle of the game. All participants take turns trying to win the game. Different bets are made, including the entire bank.

When the last person remains to play with the banker, the rest can look at his cards and place a bet on them. If they win, they take this amount for themselves. If you lose, they add it to the bank. When the “knock” is over, the banker takes the remaining money in the bank. The deck is passed to the player sitting on the left hand. Now this man is a banker.

“Point”, or “Twenty-one” is one of the most gambling games in the modern world. This game of chance was forbidden for a long time, but, despite all the prohibitions and persecutions, it has survived to this day.
Number of participants at 21: unlimited.
Props: two mixed decks of 52 cards. An ace, at the request of the players, is valued at 1 or 11 points (by agreement), pieces - 10 points each, the rest of the cards - according to their value.

RULES OF THE GAME Twenty one (Point)

Before the start of the game, the cards are mixed and removed by a punter, whatever he wishes. The banker announces the amount of his bank, and the punters bet any amount not exceeding the amount of the bank.
After agreeing on the necessary conditions, the banker begins to deal cards to all players, including himself. The deal is in the game Twenty-one, one at a time, and in total players receive two cards in their hands. According to the rules, the banker looks at his cards first. And if he has 21 points, he presents them to the participants of the gambling table, after which he takes the punters’ bets. If the ATM does not have such a combination, then the players, one by one, starting from the one sitting on the left hand of the ATM, begin to look at their cards. The one who has 21 points in his hands wins a double bet. The rest of the punters, in the same order, have the right to buy one card from the ATM, but no more than three. Lastly, under the same conditions, he buys himself cards and an ATM, after which all the cards in his hands are opened. Their analysis begins. The banker compares the points he has scored with those of the punters. The player who has more points than the banker (of course, the number of points should not exceed 21, otherwise it will be too much) is declared the winner.

In case of equality of points, the bet is removed. If the banker has a bust, he is obliged to pay the punter his double bet. But it also happens in the game Twenty-One that both the punter and the banker have a bust. In this case, the bet is removed. In Twenty-one, the banker has the right to withdraw the bank (take all the money) when all the cards in the deck have been played back.

VARIETIES OF THE GAME Twenty-one (Point)

The ATM at Twenty-one in the same way distributes one card to everyone sitting at the table, including himself - last of all. The bottom card from the deck is pulled out and placed face up on the top of the deck. After this, the banker begins to deal with each player individually.

First with the first one sitting to his left, then with the others, in turn. By the way, before starting a game of bank (cash) the banker places a certain amount of money on the table - their maximum or minimum is agreed upon before the start of the game. Punters do not add anything to the banker's bet. The first player with whom the banker begins to deal, looking at his card, tells the banker how much money from his bank he will claim. Let's say there are 1000 rubles in the bank. A player, having a not very good card, say an eight, says that he is going for 500 rubles. After this, the banker begins to give out one card from under the bottom of the deck to the player, which he examines. Having scored a certain number of points, say 18, he can stop there, saying “enough” or “to himself.” The punter does not talk about the number of points scored. Then the ATM begins to add one card at a time to his card. And having scored, say, 19 points, he announces that he’s had enough. In this case, the ATM has the advantage. The player is obliged to report 500 rubles to the cashier (bank). The game continues down the line.

If the banker has scored 17 points (“treasury”), then he must stop there. He has no right to take the next card in the game Twenty-one. But if the banker scores 15 points, he has no right to stop there. Even if he feels that the opponent has fewer points. He is obliged to get one more card or, if he wishes, a second one (let’s say, 3 more points came to his 15 points, and he feels that his opponent has more. In this case, if he wishes, he has the right to buy another card) . By the way, in this “folk” version of the game, the value of the cards looks different. An ace is worth 11 points, a king is worth 4, a queen is worth 3, a jack is worth 2. The remaining cards (6, 7, 8, 9 and 10) are valued at their face value. They usually play with a deck of 36 sheets.

The game ends (we are talking about its first round) when there is no money left in the bank. In this case, the right to deal cards goes to the player sitting to the left of the “banked” player and he becomes a banker. And one more addition. When the amount of money in the bank triples, the so-called “knock” is announced. But if the round of the game has not yet been completed, that is, if the banker has not yet dealt with all the players who have cards in their hands, then despite the bet in the bank being tripled, the game continues until the last player who has a card in their hands. Thus, the amount of money in the bank can more than triple. After this, the banker announces a knock.

On the second or third call he deals the cards again. And again plays with each player individually. The player has the right, if he does not have a bust, to look at his cards and, seeing that he has, say, only 14 points, reduce the initial request by one or another amount by half, which the banker warns about in advance before taking the next one map. And if he feels that he might go too far, then he has the right to stop with these points. Naturally, the one with the most points in his hand wins. At the end of the game, if there is still money in the bank, the banker takes it for himself. Then the next player becomes the banker. As you can see, the rules of such a “folk” game are not much different from the “classical” one.
