I fell for the offer from Kyivstar and joined the Smartphone Extra “All Inclusive” tariff plan! First they charged 150 UAH per month and gave me 500 SMS, 2500 megabytes of Internet and 200 minutes for other operators, which I haven’t used even half of in a month!!! After a month, at lunchtime I receive an SMS reminder from Kyivstar:
- “THIS NIGHT??? (no one specifies what time, just THIS NIGHT!!!) a monthly fee of 150 UAH will be charged according to the terms of your tariff. Make sure there are enough funds in your account.” At this moment I have 150 UAH and 93 kopecks in my account and more than half the MB, etc. remaining from last month. On the promised night, I am waiting for the withdrawal of 150 UAH and the provision of everything listed above to me. But .... the next morning, I discover that the monthly fee has not been charged and I already have 142 UAH 58 kopecks on my account. Where did the 8 UAH go?!!! I call the Kyivstar support service, explain the situation and ask for clarification. They tell me that I actually had money for the monthly fee in my account, but for technical reasons, for some reason it was not withdrawn?!!! And since I went online in the morning and called, they charged me 5 UAH for the internet and 2 for the call?! They apologized and assured me that they would sort everything out and return the amount I spent due to their misunderstanding. Several hours passed, I decided to dial them again, they obviously connected me with another operator. Again I explain the situation, again they check, again they say that there was money, again They promise to sort it out. But wait a second, I tell them, I need to call, use the Internet, at whose expense and at what rate?!!! They say, well, you either top up the missing 8 UAH for yourself and we will withdraw 150 UAH and connect you to the tariff plan that you have been using for a month, or every day you will be charged 7-10 UAH depending on calls and Internet use. But where did the 8 go? UAH???
It turns out, as the third one later explained to me!!! operator, my tariff plan ended at 00 hours 00 minutes. And the subscription fee for the next month is charged from 1 to 3 o'clock in the morning. And since I was on the Internet from midnight and sent an SMS, they took this money from me at 3 o'clock in the morning We couldn’t withdraw the monthly fee of 150 UAH.
Okay, but why wasn’t I informed in advance, why when Kyivstar sent me an SMS reminder, it didn’t indicate the exact time?!
In short, in the end, I replenished the missing 8 UAH for myself and in the end, “All inclusive” cost me 158 UAH per month, not 150!
It’s also good that I checked my balance in the morning, because if I had rushed to find out in the evening or the next day, the amount would have been much higher!
