Make a backup copy of the 1c program. How to update the 1C configuration yourself

Whatever configuration you use, you need to make backups periodically information base(backups). This simple procedure will allow you in case of any problems (burned HDD, the configuration stopped running, etc.) quickly restore the configuration from a backup copy.

Most often, accountants who maintain accounting records for one or more companies on their own suffer from neglecting backup. home computer or laptop. One “fine day” the computer stops booting, the configuration does not start or errors appear... Even in such a situation, specialists will definitely help you, but why complicate your life so much? Let's learn how to use database backups.

How to make a backup copy of a 1C database?

A backup can be made in 2 ways:

Method 1: copying the configuration file

This is the easiest way. If the configuration is stored on your computer or in local network in a separate directory (file version), then in order to do backup copy we just need to copy the 1Cv8.1CD file from this directory or the entire directory. For the convenience of storing backups, you can add the date when this backup was made to the file or directory name.

Method 2: by downloading the infobase

This universal method, which is suitable for any configuration.

1. Launch the 1C program in configurator mode.

2. In the main menu of the program, select “Administration – Upload infobase”.

3. Select the directory to save the backup and set a name for the file. The database upload will have the extension “.dt”. It is better if the file name contains the date when this backup was made.

Why do we need 2 ways to create backups?

If the information base is stored on a server using a DBMS database management system (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2 or Oracle), then there is no directory with the 1Cv8.1CD file, and we will not be able to use method 1. Method 1 can only be used for configurations operating in file mode.

Thus, method 2, by downloading infobases, is universal and allows you to make backup copies of any configurations that work in both file and client-server versions.

For information on how to restore configuration data from a backup copy, read the following article.

", July 2018.

A Progressive Accountant subscriber can be a jack of all trades: both keeping records and working with the database as well as a programmer. At least in the most important aspects X. Let's consider three pressing questions for 1C users about how you can independently make a copy of the database, update it and perform a rollup.

Backup of the 1C information base

It is advisable to copy the database once a day or at least once a week. Creating a backup copy is in your own interests, because in the event of any force majeure from a flood to a fire, thanks to a backup copy, you will be able to restore your database and continue to work as if nothing had happened.

There are three simple and effective ways Reserve copy.

Method No. 1. Regular copying.

It is worth considering that before copying using this method, you need to make sure that all users have left the database and no one is currently working in it.

This is the most easy way, which do not require special knowledge. If the configuration is stored on your computer, then in order to make a backup copy, it is enough to copy the entire folder with your database to another hard place disk or to a separate medium (for example, a flash drive). For convenience, I recommend that you indicate in the folder name the date on which the database copy was made.

To find out where your information base is located, you can open “1C:Enterprise 8”, select/highlight necessary base and press the button " Change" The window that opens will indicate the path to your infobase.

Method No. 2. Uploading the information base.

To download, you need to log into the database configurator. You can get there by opening “1C:Enterprise 8” (where we select the login base) and click the “ Configurator».

After the configuration has opened, you need to open the database. To do this, in the main menu, select the tab “ Configuration" and further " Open configuration»

After the desired information base opens, you need to select the tab on the panel at the top “Administration” – “Download infobase” and indicate the path where the database will be saved.

Method number 3. Automatic backup.

To set up automatic copying, you need to enter the database by opening “1C:Enterprise 8” and select the tab “Administration” – “Support and Maintenance”.

Then expand the tab "Backup and Restore."

Next, select the item "Setting up backups." There are options here - according to a schedule and when finishing work with the program. It is best, especially if you are not the only user of the database, to select the option "Regularly on schedule". Setting it up is very easy. You need to follow the link next to "Regularly on schedule" and indicate the start and end date for creating the copy.

In addition to these settings, you also need to specify the directory for storing copies and how many backup copies to store.

How to update the 1C configuration yourself

Don't forget: the most important thing in updating is to make an archive copy. After this, you can start updating.

Let us clarify in advance that you can update the database yourself only if you are using a standard configuration. If you have ever had your database modified, then only a specialist can update it without the risk of “breaking everything.”

Absolutely every user can independently update the standard database, without having any special skills or knowledge, but simply according to the instructions, in one of the two ways indicated below.

Method No. 1. Update via the Internet.

Before updating the configuration release via the Internet, you need to make sure that you have a login and password for the ITS portal (https://portal.1c.ru).

Next you need to enter the database, go through the tabs “Administration” – “Internet support” – “Configuration update”. The update assistant window will open. In this window, leave the selected update method as default and check the box “ Always connected to the Internet" In the same window we have the opportunity to check the box “ Always check for updates"When starting the program, I advise you to turn it on, and your database will always be the latest release.

After checking these boxes, click the “ Further”, after which a message is displayed whether there are updates or not.

If there is an update, click " Further", the update process will begin. It may take longer if the latest configuration release is not installed. The program downloads all the necessary releases to the latest and installs them. When the program installs all releases, it will prompt you to restart and after the restart the update process will complete.

Method No. 2. Updates using the configurator.

Before updating, you need to find out which configuration release is currently installed. To do this, go to the configurator and click on the tab “Help” – “About the program”, the window that appears will indicate the release of your database. After this, go to the ITS Portal https://portal.1c.ru/ (under your username and password) to the section « Updates» . Here you need to find your configuration, select a specific update version and download.

Then you need to go to the folder on the computer where the update distribution (file) was downloaded and unzip it. As a result, several files will appear in the folder, of which we need setup.exe. You will need to double-click on it and in the window that appears, press the buttons “ Further", without changing anything. This way the database will be prepared for updating.

Then go to the configurator, go to the tab « Configuration» « Support» "Update configuration." In the window that appears, select the top line and click "Further". In the next window, leave the checkbox only on top line. A window with an update will appear, select the one you need and press the button “ Ready" During the update, the program will display questions; you will always need to answer “ Yes" After the update is completed, be sure to launch 1C:Enterprise so that it also accepts it. This update is complete for us.

Database collapse in 1C: why is it and how to do it?

Over time, more and more different data is entered into the database, its size is constantly growing - especially if your organization is large or you have several organizations in the database. As a result, the database can grow to 5 GB, and therefore the program will begin to work more slowly. If your base is close to the maximum critical level in terms of volume, then it may not open at all.

So that there is no similar problem, we reduce the size of the database by assembling and archiving data for previous periods - this is why we need to collapse the database.

To carry out the convolution, go to the database, open the section “ Administration", in the action bar - " Service", and click on the button " Other commands».

The rollup form will open. Convolution is carried out sequentially in several stages; upon completion of each stage, it is indicated in green.

The first stage is creating a backup copy.

Before collapsing the database, as well as before updating the database, you should always make a backup copy of the database.

At this stage, we create a backup copy by checking the box, then enter the user password (if there is one) and select the folder where the copy of the database will be saved.

After which the program will warn you about restarting the database. Having completed everything necessary, press the button “ Further" in the lower corner.

The second stage is setup.

At this stage, you need to select the period at the beginning of which the balances of the organization for which the roll-up will take place will be rolled up, and set a ban date on data changes.

It is best to roll up at the beginning of the previous year (for example, if we roll up at the beginning of this year, then all data needs to be rolled up at the beginning of the previous year). It is best to roll up for all organizations if we have records for several organizations in our database. But you can do it separately, repeating the procedure for each organization.

The third stage is the formation of residues.

This step allows us to fine-tune the register folding. Here you can manually configure register trimming, but it’s better to leave everything as it is, that is, select "Default settings".

The fourth stage is self-checking.

We check the generated documents before we delete the old ones, so that in case of an error we can roll back. At this stage, you can open documents, edit or enter new ones.

The fifth stage is automatic verification.

On the " Examination» you can generate reports using accounting registers or information and accumulation registers. The data is displayed as follows accounting, and for tax purposes. On the right we have a button for standard reports.

Stage six – delete old documents.

This procedure is irreversible, so you should first check everything thoroughly in the previous stages. Once the deletion process is complete, processing will say that the rollup was successful.

Backing up, updating the configuration and collapsing the database are three very important aspects of working with the 1C database. Without a backup, we will not be able to restore the database, with the update appeared new functionality to simplify the work, and collapsing the base will make the program run faster.

Experienced administrators know that database backups are the key to their peaceful sleep. Correctly configured and timely copying of information will allow you not to be afraid of power surges, viruses and atmospheric phenomena that can damage your equipment. The more users work in the 1C database, the greater the effect of rescuing their work from the reserve. 1C database backup is performed independently different ways, each of which will be optimal under certain conditions and the size of the information security.

Creating a copy of information security by the administrator

This feature is not the most reliable for regular use. Often they resort to it in order to perform a backup in 1C before updating and making significant changes. Most quick option for a file database, which does not even require the use of a configurator and auxiliary software - copying the file -*.1CD. If you don’t know where the database is located, start 1C and when selecting databases, pay attention to the line with the location of the database file:

Having followed this path, we must move a copy of the file we need to the location where it will be stored.

At this moment, there should be no active actions with configuration objects in the database. To restore IB from a file, simply replace the *.1CD file in the DB folder. Another option to make a backup in 1C will require activating the configurator - uploading information security to a file with the extension dt. To do this, follow simple steps:

For regular saving, automatic backup in 1C is more suitable. The 1C company, in standard configurations, has prepared the setup of this process for information security in a file version. You will find it under “Reference data and administration”, “Support and maintenance”, “Backup and recovery”. You can save copies to your PC hard drive, external device and cloud archive.

You can also find the “Backup Settings” item here. It allows you to set:

  • Frequency of creating a copy of the 1C file database;
  • Start date and end date of information security unloading;
  • A place to save information security (use cloud services);
  • Number of stored backups.

The mechanism is not suitable for a client-server database. Automatic backup of data in 1C 8.3 must be performed using a DBMS. The most popular in Russia are Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL. To configure automatic data saving, you need to understand the structure and internal mechanisms of the DBMS.

Restoring a 1C database from a backup copy

It is important for administrators to be able to not only configure automatic downloading of database copies, but also to know how to restore the database. Everyone hopes that this knowledge will not be useful to him, but even for peace of mind, the administrator must be able to restore the database. But remember that loading a database from a made copy is last method fix the problem and before that you need to try other options. The process occurs in exclusive mode and consists of the following points:

  • Make another copy of the database;
  • If the saved database is in the “*.1CD” format, then it is enough to replace the 1CD file with a similar one from the reserve and start 1C;
  • If the file is in the “*.dt” format, then you need to go to the configurator. Then select the menu "Administration" >> "Load infobase...". Specify the path to specific file and wait until 1C reports success;

  • Run the “Testing and fixing the information base” mechanism.

Setting up backup in 1C 8.3 should be in the arsenal of every administrator, as well as a method for restoring a database. But a competent administrator will not use this mechanism on permanent basis, since this last resort in saving the database.

There are several ways to create backups:

  • Copying database files;
  • Uploading file to file.dt;
  • Backup using 1C configuration tools 8.3.

Let's consider each of the methods of creating “backups” of 1C databases in more detail.

Easy file copying with the extension " *.1CD" and if necessary - " 1Cv8Log" from the catalog with information security :

The event log stores information about logging in and terminating a session, changing data, starting and executing background jobs, and other information, depending on the settings:

This copying method allows you to perform it while user sessions are running, but at the time of copying to information security SHOULD NOT be active (creating, recording, posting documents), as you may receive an incorrect copy.

Uploading the 1C database in the configurator where it is created compressed file with dt extension. If necessary, the registration log can be archived separately.

Uploading the infobase

We launch the information security in the mode Configurator:

Launch the IB Upload Wizard:

We unload the information security, where we indicate the location of the backup copy:

Upon completion, a message will appear indicating that the information security unloading is complete:

After creating a copy, you need to check (test) the functionality dt file – loading IS, first creating IS for testing.

How to restore a database from a 1C 8.3 backup

We launch the information security in the mode Configurator.

We launch the IB download wizard, where we indicate the location *.dt file:

After restoring the 1C backup, a warning will appear about the successful loading of the information security and a request to reboot Configurator:

While creating this method reservation requires that all users of this information security complete their work session.

More details on how to restore data from previously created archival copy, including how to restore data to an existing information database or a newly created database - watch our video:

Creating and setting up a 1C archive using configuration tools

Automatic backup , which is configured in 1C:Enterprise user mode. This mode created by developers in configurations on the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 platform (“Enterprise Accounting, rev. 8.3”, “Salaries and Personnel Management, rev. 8.3”, “Trade Management, rev. 11.2”):

Here you can:

  • Run a one-time backup:

  • Create a schedule:

  • Restore from backup:

Adviсe:

  • Store backups on another physical or external media, because in case of malfunction hard drive You can lose the information security itself and its copies.
  • Make regular backups. In order to decide how often you need to perform backups, you need to answer the question: “How do you value your work and the work of your colleagues.” The more often you create backups, the less effort you have to re-enter documents. But, you definitely need to create backups before updating the configuration.

If you have any questions, you can watch our video, which describes in more detail the creation of an archive copy of the information base using the tools of the technology platform itself in Configurator mode:

Please rate this article:

The 1C system provides the ability to create a copy of the database existing in it. This allows you to keep the necessary information intact in the event of an unexpected shutdown of the program. You can set up automatic 1C backup by following a few simple steps.

If a backup fails, it will not restore the system. Why is it needed?

There are several myths surrounding the backup feature. One of them is related to the purpose of such an option. Many believe that automatic archiving of the 1C database helps:

  1. deploy a copy of the entire system;
  2. restore its functionality.

The second option is fictitious. The presence of a backup copy does not affect the performance of 1C in any way. This is, rather, the very last barrier to ensuring the safety of information available in the system. Ideally, it is better not to restore 1C from saved copies at all (to do this, the product itself must be properly configured and regularly diagnosed for correct operation). But if, nevertheless, a failure occurs in the program and it has to be reinstalled, then the created reserves will allow you to save accumulated information and data about counterparties, work performed, invoices posted and much more.

The archive that is created by 1C is complete system backup copies. This does not include logs and display type configurations different tabs. There are two archiving options: manual and automatic according to schedule. The first method is rarely used; it is much more convenient for the system itself to automatically update the created copies at specified intervals. This is done using MS SQL tools. Previously, in version 1C: Enterprise 7.7 it was not full-fledged, but with the release of versions 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 this functionality works exactly like a Swiss watch.

But for this to happen a number of important conditions must be met.

  1. The historian and system must be configured accordingly in advance.
  2. For use backup archives you need to have some theoretical and practical skills.
  3. The system itself should include the most reliable and simple components.

So, it’s worth taking a closer look at how to set up automatic backup for 1C version 8.3 (in versions 8.2 and 8.1 the algorithm is identical).

Setting up automatic autoarchiving in file mode

To complete this task, you will need the “Support and Maintenance” item, which is located in the tab called “Administration”.

Setting up automatic copying 1C is carried out in the drop-down menu item of the same name.

At this stage it is necessary to decide where they will be stored. copies created. Several options are available:

  • external hard drive;
  • in the memory of a desktop computer;
  • using a service called “1C Cloud Archive”.

By opening the “Backup and Restore” tab, you can also use the option to manually start archiving. Automatic copy bases of the 1C program will be carried out after setting the appropriate parameters in the paragraph that is dedicated to the settings of this option.

Automatic backup in 1C version 8.3 can be set under different conditions:

  • Scheduled;
  • when closing the program.

If work with the product is carried out by different users, then it is best to choose the first option. So, by checking the “Regularly scheduled” option, you can specify the archiving period, for example, every day. So in 1C a backup copy will be created when automatic update archive according to the parameter you specified.

In addition, while in the configurator, you can specify cloud storage to create an archive and the number of copies.

Configuring database autosave using MS SQL tools

There is another option for solving the problem under consideration - using backups using DBMS tools - Postgre, MS SQL. Automatic saving 1C data using these tools allows you to work with both files and groups, creates several mirror copies, and also always compresses archived materials to save space.

First you need to open the autoarchiver called SQL Server Studio. It is available in the general list of all computer utilities.

If you use Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (R2), then you need to go to the “Start” button menu, then select “Microsoft SQL Server 2012”, and then “ SQL Environment Server Management Studio".

After this, in the Object Explorer you need to expand the tab called “Databases”. Must click right click mouse over a database that contains necessary information. In the context menu that appears, select the “Tasks” option, and then “Create a backup copy...” (the so-called backup).

After completing the previous step, a settings window will appear where you can set properties for copying existing data. Here you can choose:

  • database;
  • backup type (full, partial, etc.);
  • components for archiving (only selected files or the entire database);
  • the period for updating copies (if you select 0 days, then the data will not be overwritten);
  • archive storage location.

Here you will also need to check the “Backup only” checkbox. Then, the resulting automatic 1C archive will be isolated from the usual sequence of backup copies of the SQL Server manager.

Also here you can change or add a different location of the reserve, name created file. To do this, click the “Add” button. Select the directory and file name in the drop-down window and click the “Ok” button to confirm changes.

This important step, on which you need to check the box confirming that after completing the creation of the archive, the system should check it.

The database will be even more secure if you check the box next to the copy compression option. This will save memory space. By clicking the “Ok” button, you will start the archiving process.

After successful completion, the corresponding system message.

How to use backups

In MS SQL there is a special report with which you can see the time and date when the last automatic unloading of the 1C database version 8.3 (as well as others) was carried out. It also helps to recover information from the received copy. To create it, you need to go to the so-called “Object Browser”. By hovering the cursor over the necessary base and thereby causing context menu, you need to select the “Reports” item, then the option called “Standard Report”, and then click on the proposed type called “Backup and Restore Events”.

This document includes information such as:

  • average time spent creating the archive;
  • a list of successful operations in the process of creating copies;
  • archiving errors encountered;
  • list of successful recovery operations.

Uploading this information requires disclosing the grouping within the report that corresponds to the request.

Thus, setting up automatic backup is not difficult. To implement this, you can use file mode, then the process will be completed in a couple of clicks. It is also possible to carry out configuration using client-server saving, which will require several more actions, but the result of such archiving will be of higher quality and reliability.
