With this application, monitoring the heating temperature of your CPU or motherboard becomes completely simple. Based on such temperature characteristics, there is absolutely no doubt about the outcome of, say, increasing the clock frequency of the central processor or graphics core. In addition, if a stationary system hub is used, you can even track the rotation speed of the fan that controls the cooling of a particular component.
And that's not all that the Speccy application is capable of. A special place in the program is given to obtaining the most detailed information about the installed operating system. Even the operating system itself does not always provide the user with a complete report on the release. At best, you can get information about the version and release date. Even if you go to the Control Panel or right-click the mouse to bring up the contents of the context menu on the My Computer icon, you will not always receive complete and, sometimes, much-needed information. Even Device Manager is not always able to display this type of data.

So Speccy is a program for displaying all sorts of information about your hardware, this program was made by the same company that made CCleaner, so I think the program is suitable. Because, if you don’t know, the CCleaner program is very popular and many users like it, because the program is really high quality
Who needs the Speccy program? Well, this is a question, this program is needed by someone who wants to quickly find out information about hardware, see the temperature of some devices, and at the same time the program is free, then all this is Speccy. I installed this program for myself and now we will see what it is and how much worse or better it is than the AIDA64 program, which can be called a master in providing information about hardware and showing device temperatures.

There's so much detailed information here that it's not particularly interesting. But, you can look, here you will see detailed information about everything, so to speak, at the same time, every item that is written in blue, then it opens there will be more information inside. It shows how many cores, how many threads, the model, in general there is a lot to be written here. And here the temperature is also displayed. Here, as you already understood, there will be information about your RAM. But it shows not just how much opera costs on your computer, but also a lot of all sorts of information! Let me write what I have here. And this is what it costs, as you can see, I have DDR3 type memory, capacity 8 gigs (8192 MB), 1 channel (this seems to mean that it works in a single channel). Even below, well, where SPD is, then the Manufacturer is written there, I have Hyundai Electronics here. This is simply Hynix. That is, you can go and find out who the manufacturer of the bar is, even without looking at the bar itself. Also there, well, next to it, the week and year of release of the bar are written. The Motherboard tab, here is information about your motherboard, the model is written, what chipset it is made on, so to speak, the temperature is also shown, and all sorts of other information, here is this tab, look:
The Graphics Devices tab, here you will find all the information about your video card or your video core in the process, the screen resolution is also indicated here, in general, look at this information:
This means that a lot of interesting things are written here, for example, how many heads are in the hard drive, how many times it was started, the SATA type, there is also temperature and S.M.A.R.T indicators (this is to find out the health of the hard drive), there is also a temperature sensor here. Here I am showing you, so to speak, more complete information about the hard drive, so that you understand what information the Speccy program gives:
On the Optical Drives tab there will be information about your drive, or drives, if there are several of them. I don’t show this tab, do you know why? Because for me personally, the floppy drive is already a thing of the past, I haven’t used it for several years now, a flash drive is somehow more convenient for me, and I can download everything else from the Internet. And that’s why I don’t have anything on this tab, so I don’t show it
The Sound devices tab, well, what can I tell you, information about your sound card is written here, for me it’s a separate ASUS Xonar DX sound card, and it’s clear that you will have another one, probably just built into the motherboard.. In short, this tab:
By the way, guys, ASUS Xonar DX is a really good and high-quality audio speaker, but the price tag of about $80 is a bit off-putting... Well, what can you do, quality can’t be cheap...
Then there is the Peripheral Devices tab, here you know all this information, well, about your mouse, about the keyboard and about something else, about some kind of printer, in short, guys, this tab and this is the information on it:
On the Network tab there is all sorts of information about your network, there is also an IP address, a subnet mask, a gateway server, a DHCP server, in general, look at this tab:
Well guys, so we looked through all the tabs, I think that now you roughly understand what information Speccy shows and what kind of program it is in general. As for me, this is a quite suitable program, it shows information conveniently, there is all the necessary information
So what else is good about Speccy? You can make sure that you always have an icon with the device temperature in your tray. The device itself can be selected. Well, look at how to do this, you click on View in the program itself and select Options in the menu:
Then you go to the Notification Area (tray) tab and there you check the Minimize to tray checkbox and then check two more boxes and select what exactly you need to be displayed there, that is, the temperature of what exactly? Here I indicated the Central Processing Unit (there is also a hard drive and motherboard):
By the way, where the Output is, the type of device is selected there, so to speak. But where the Sensor is, then you can select what exactly the temperature will be displayed, well, if I selected the Central Processing Unit, then here, well, where the Sensor is, then there you can select the temperature of which core will be displayed. But I chose Average temperature there, so that the overall temperature of the processor would be shown, so to speak. Where Update once every, then I advise you to set it to two seconds or even three, I personally don’t recommend setting it to one second, it will only be an extra small load.. Before deleting, do not forget to exit the program; to do this, right-click on the Speccy icon in the tray and select Exit:

By entering the “View” menu, you can use the “Find…” context menu item to open the “Find” window to search for the necessary information.

In the “General Information” section, in addition to basic information about the equipment, next to the name of a specific device, there is information about the temperature of those devices that can become seriously hot during their operation.
To obtain more detailed information about devices, you can use the sidebar. There are sections dedicated to certain types of devices.
For more detailed information, you will need to click on the corresponding item in the central part of the program window, where information about the computer is displayed.
For example, in the “Operating system” section, in addition to basic information: system name and version, serial number, information about updates, installed antivirus, you can get other additional information.
In this image you can see a list of processes that are currently running on the system. You can find out how much memory a specific process takes up, the process code, under which user it is running, as well as the path to the file, which can be used to find out the name of the program under which this process is running.
You can get other necessary information, for example, find out the model of the motherboard that is installed on your computer.
How to find out the motherboard model in Speccy
In order to find out the name of the motherboard, select “Motherboard” in the side column. This is the motherboard, both names are identical.
All information about the motherboard (system) will be listed here: manufacturer, model, models of chipsets that are installed on the motherboard, system temperature, BIOS brand and version, voltage, as well as other data.
Having received this information, you can later use it for your needs. You will know what equipment you want to install or replace is suitable for your computer.
Some programs impose certain requirements on computer devices, otherwise such programs, after installation, will not work at all or correctly on the computer. Saving collected information in Speccy
You can save all the information received on your computer. To do this, go to the "File" menu, and then select the menu item "Save as XML..." or "Save as text...". Immediately after this, all information will be saved in the selected format on your computer.
Using the “Print” context menu item, you can print the collected information, or save it on your computer in PDF format using a virtual printer.
Using the Speccy program, you can save pictures that can be opened using the program itself. You can publish the resulting photo on the Internet, and then receive a link to it. In the future, you can transfer this link, which contains information about your computer, to another user.
